Multi-instrumentalist and accomplished lyricist and vocalist, the London-based singer-songwriter Olivia Chaney has built a loyal and growing audience, both in the UK and internationally, following her eponymous debut EP in 2013.
Her love of traditional English song and early operatic composers such as Henry Purcell can be heard in her own writing and re-interpretations. Nominated for two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards—the Horizon Award for best emerging artist and Best Original Song for “Swimming in the Longest River”—her Nonesuch debut album is set for release in 2014.
Olivia opens The Night Shift at Wilton’s Music Hall on 14 May.
